Parents Association

Who Are We?

The Parents’ Association is a small, very hard working committee made up of parents of children in all departments of the school and two teacher members.

Aim

The aim of the association is to advance the education of the pupils, by assisting in the provision of facilities for education at the school.

Activities

We fund raise by holding a School Fete, an annual Christmas Market, Tennis Tournament and other social events. Our other main means of fundraising is the PA Uniform shop (see below for further information).

All the Committee give their time voluntarily and together raise several thousands of pounds each year, which is used in school to buy anything from library books to computers, sewing machines to play equipment.

In 2007/8, PA money was used to buy Pre-Prep storage units, library books, CDs, DVDs, textile embellishers, a digital piano, picnic tables, bean bags, games and flippers for swimming, tennis balls, pom poms and uniforms for dance classes. Donations were made to the Year 11 Prom and to Year 13 for the Summer Ball.
