Music
Music is very popular within the school and many Senior school pupils are members of the choir,
orchestra and string group led by Mrs Greene our Head of Music. All Junior pupils from Year 4 upwards learn the recorder, and many Junior pupils are also members of their choir.
Concerts are held every Winter and Spring, where Junior and Senior pupils have the opportunity to perform in front of an audience. The school also holds an annual House Musical Festival and pupils perform during Morning Prayers.
In 2010, the school formed a partnership with Norfolk Concerts, a charity that promotes music in rural areas. Through this partnership pupils have had the opportunity to attend music events and received a workshop from professional international musicians in September 2010.
Private Tuition
Pupils also have the opportunity to receive private singing, piano, flute, clarinet, saxophone, violin, drums, guitar and brass tuition from visiting peripatetic teachers. These lessons take place during lunch hours or after school. For further information please contact the School Office or visit the Fees page for 2011-2012 charges.
