International Admissions
Hethersett Old Hall School prides itself on its relaxed, friendly atmosphere. We recognise the importance of finding the right school for a child and know that choosing a school for your child can be a difficult and emotional process. We seek to make your application as simple and as relaxing as possible with our 5 step admissions procedure.
We hope that by the time you register with the school it will be clear to you whether or not the school offers the type of education which you are seeking. The conversations which you have with the Admissions Manager, with the Headmistress, Staff and Pupils should answer any questions which you may have about the suitability of the education we offer. Our experienced and friendly staff are always happy to help, so if you have any questions or queries email enquiry or call now on 00 44 1603 810390.
Step One: Registration
Once you have decided Hethersett Old Hall School is the school for you, you need to complete an application form, which will automatically register your child for a place at the school. Send the application form, a recent photo, a scholarship application, where applicable, and a £50 registration form to the Admissions Manager, who will contact you to arrange the next step of the admissions process.
Our commitment to small class sizes means that many classes fill quickly. Early registration is strongly advised.

Step Two: Reference / Entrance Assessments
Once the application has been received we will contact you to arrange for a school reference and / or Entrance Assessments
Entrance Assessments are designed to give staff an indication of each pupil’s stage of development, so that an appropriate programme of study can be arranged. The assessments focus on maths, English, Reading and an IQ test.
We will contact your child's school / agent for a recent transcript and reference.
Step Three:
The Admissions Manager will inform you of the outcome of the assessments. The formal offer letter includes the terms and conditions and an Entrance Form.
For PDF version of the Entrance Form, select the appropriate file below:
You will then need to return the Entrance Form and a £1000 deposit to the Admissions Manager. (The deposit is repayable at the end of the pupils last term) You will then be sent a full information pack including fee details, uniform list, medical forms etc… You will not be expected to pay the deposit until visas are confirmed.
Step Four:
All International Students will need a Guardian in the UK. For more information on Guardians, click here.
You will then be ready to start. We want to make the process as easy and as uncomplicated as possible, but if you have any questions, please contact the Admissions Manager now. Call 01603 810390 or email: prosepctus@hohs.co.uk
