Q. What happens if my child is sick?
A. If your child will be absent from school, we ask you to call the school office in the morning on 01603 810390, so that we know they are safe.
If your child is ill while at school, they will be sent to the School nurse. The nurse will then decide on the best treatment and will contact parents or guardians directly as required.
Q. What time is my child’s sport’s match?
A. A list of all sports fixtures and events are now available on the website. Click here for a full fixtures list. The Weekly Newsletter also includes up-to-date information.
Q. How do I book tickets for my child’s play / concert?
A. For most school events we provide a booking form to make getting tickets as easy as possible. Simply complete the booking form and hand into reception. Otherwise, the office staff are always happy to help. Call 01603 810390 for more information.
Q. Can I have another copy of the letter you sent to us?
A. Copies of most general letters sent to parents are now on the website. Go to Letters. Personal letters will not be added to the website, call 01603 810390 for a copy.
Q. Where can I get uniform from?
A. We have 2 uniform suppliers: The PA Uniform Shop and Grahame Gardner. Click on the links now to find out more. You can download a full uniform list here. The suppliers are usually in once a month; check the PA Uniform Shop for dates.
Q. I am unhappy with my child’s schooling. How do I make a complaint?
A. We pride ourselves on the level of open communication between staff and parents. If for any reason you are unhappy, you should contact the form teacher, a member of the senior management team or the Headmistress on 01603 810390. If the situation is still not resolved complaints in writing should be directed to the Chairman of the Governors for the school. For a detailed description of the Complaints Procedure, click here.

Q. What do I do if I am late picking up my child?
A. As a Boarding school we are very fortunate to have the facilities to look after children at short notice. If for any reason you are going to be late, simply call reception on 01603 810390 and we can arrange for your child to wait in the Entrance Hall if you are only a few minutes delayed or to join day boarding or an activity if you will be some time. We can also offer occasional boarding at very short notice and your child can stay at school for the whole night. Call 01603 810390 or see Occasional Boarding for more information.
Q. How much notice do I need to give to book my child into Occasional Boarding?
A. We like as much notice as possible, but we understand that circumstances change every day. Call reception on 01603 810390 and, subject to availability, your child can stay.
