- A full term’s notice in writing of withdrawal of a pupil is required throughout a pupil’s school career
- Parents will be liable for a term’s fees in lieu of such notice
- Day fees include mid-morning drink and lunches.They are inclusive of all stationery,laboratory and
library fees, use of text books and equipment. Senior pupils may stay for prep until 6pm - Sixth formers provide their own stationery; their text books and materials are individually charged
- Boarding fees are inclusive of all laundry
- Fees include swimming, netball and badminton clubs
Fee Payment Schemes and Insurance
- A fee of £50 is charged when applying for a place.A deposit of £200 (day pupils),£400 (boarders), £1,000 (overseas pupils), is payable upon accepting a place in the school (refundable at the end of the pupil’s final term in the school)
- Pupil Accident Insurance is billed termly in advance and is compulsory
- School Fee Remission Insurance can be taken out if desired, to protect against absence for part or the whole of a term. Health care insurance can also be arranged
- A composite fee may be paid in advance to cover the cost of a pupil’s education throughout all or part of their time at the school, attracting a discount. Details of this and other fee payment schemes may be obtained from the Financial Administrator
- A facility exists for payment of tuition and boarding fees by monthly direct debit. Details may be obtained from the Financial Administrator
Discounts
Siblings: First sibling 5%, second sibling 10%, subsequent siblings 15%
Clergy: Fee reductions (subject to means) are available for children of clergy of The Church of England
Forces: H.M. Forces personnel up to 15% of the boarding fee (subject to means)
N.B. A scholarship may be held in addition to the siblings discount.
Fees for Optional Extra Subjects
These fees are charged by the visiting staff individually. Individual (or group) tuition is for 10 lessons per term. A full term’s notice in writing addressed to the Headmistress is required to cease studying an extra subject. In lieu of such notice a term’s fees are payable.
Extra Subjects and Current Clubs
Clubs will run subject to sufficient numbers It may be necessary for these lessons to take place during the normal school day.

**The peripatetic staff teaching these subjects will submit their own invoices (via the school). No charge for these will appear on the accounts produced by the school.This is to comply with Government Regulations. Please ensure your cheque for these subjects is made payable to the tutor concerned and NOT to Hethersett Old Hall School.
Out of School Care - Pre-Prep
Out of School care will be provided at the following costs for September 2007.
- Out of School Care: 8.00am - 8.45am - £3.95 per day
- After School Care: 3.00pm - 4.00pm - £3.95 per day
- 4.00pm - 5.00pm - £4.70 per day 5.00pm - 6.00pm - £4.70 per day
NB. Part hours will be charged in full for after school. Pupils arriving before 8.30am should be booked in for 8.00am - 8.45am before school session.Your commitment will be on a termly basis. Occasional days may be booked with prior written notice to the school office.
