Exam Results
At Hethersett Old Hall School, we believe that there is so much more to education than achieving good examination results, although we are of course committed to ensuring our pupils reach the highest academic standards of which they are capable. The success of former pupils who gain entry into illustrious universities such Cambridge and Oxford and graduate with good degrees speaks for itself, but we firmly believe that the ability to pass examinations should not overshadow the need to develop the widest range of skills including the ability to establish successful relationships with others on both a personal and professional basis. That said our results are consistently high as the tables below demonstrate.
N.B the relatively small size of each cohort and the varied composition from year to year may mean these statistics require further interpretation. If you wish further detail the Headmistress will be very pleased to discuss the school’s examination performance with you and explain the concept of value added.
