ESOL Examination

The school is able to prepare students for a range of ESOL examinations including:

We also prepare Sixth Form students for IELTS to a minimum standard for university entrance (6.0-6.5) and for SAT (scholastic Assessment Test) required by some overseas universities.  In addition to being prepared for the various examinations, pupils are taken to the exam centres, whether in Cambridge or Norwich.   Hethersett Old Hall School is now registered as a University of Cambridge International Examinations Centre.

International students also have the possibility of studying a second foreign language in addition to English (where appropriate).  GCSE and AS French and German are both available in small groups, and are usually taken after school as an extra subject.
