Boarding
Boarding at Hethersett Old Hall School is a positive and active experience. A balanced programme of activities and free time provides a secure and happy environment, which acts as a ‘home away from home’ for our family of boarders.
The houses provide every girl with a social base within the school and a pleasantly informal lifestyle is encouraged within each house. Young girls share a comfortable room with three or four others in an elegant country house, whilst modern student-style accommodation, with single or double bedrooms, has been provided for Sixth Formers. Our extensive renovation programme means that these rooms are modern, comfortable and above all relaxing, while regular exeat weekends offer perfect opportunities to explore the area or visit family and friends.
An exciting new schedule of activities means that the Boarders (and Boarding Staff) are busier than ever with day trips, theatre visits, swimming clubs, activity weekends, cinema trips, ten-pin bowling, shopping trips as well as the other regular trips planned by the school: skiing in Canada, Paris Trip, Theatre trips, Duke of Edinburgh expeditions.

Full Boarding
Take full advantage of the Hethersett Old Hall School boarding experience. Regular weekend activities and trips ensure that Boarders do not get bored, while exeat weekends provide the perfect opportunity to visit family, friends or to explore the area. Weekly Boarding
Get the best of both worlds. Weekly boarding lets you enjoy the benefits of boarding, but lets you go home for the weekend. Extremely competitively priced, weekly boarding is the perfect solution to avoid that daily school run.
Occasional Boarding
Modern life is hectic for everyone. The biggest advantage of being a boarding school is that we have the facilities available to help the busiest of parents. For an extremely reasonable price your daughter can join in all the fun, finish her homework, get a good meal and a good night’s sleep and still be ready for school in the morning without you doing anything and places can be booked at the last minute.
