Jellyvision Success!! 7 October 2009

Hethersett Old Hall School was victorious last Friday - for creating the tallest edible jelly in a Norfolk-wide competition!

They entered Jellyvision alongside 13 other local primary and secondary schools, held as part of Norfolk Food Festival 2009, organised by the Institute of Food Research and Institute of Physics.

Our crack team of Year 12 girls, Francesca, Rebecca and Jennifer built an edible jelly (as stipulated in the rules) made from oats, dessicated coconut and jelly. Obviously our recipe worked as we absolutely trounced the other entrants with a creation 65cm tall, smashing the record created last year of 37cm!

Our girls were naturally delighted to have won, with the added glory of being presented their gold medals by Mr Blobby!
